Fantasy for a New Generation of Readers

Most people would be terrified if they encountered a dragon, but Brian Miller and his companions are in touch with these celestial beasts. J. Michael Brower's Brian Miller series has plenty of action, but the stories are also about the compassion and empathy that two very different creatures can have for one another.

Brian Miller Supplemental

(Book One-and-a-Half)

Continuing Book One, Brian Miller and the Twins of Triton, Brian awakes on a sinking star craft, ocean everywhere. Riding for many hours on Larascena, a saurian and a warlord from Alligatoria, she makes an arc, on an island. On the arc, speeding towards the craft, Larascena trains Brian in warfare. Larascena slowly falls in love with Brian. Then, Larascena finds a dead Alligatorian female aboard, rescued by Brian and the weapons. Forlorn, she exercises revenge. Larascena goes on a rampage, destroying machines. Hit by Black Arrows from the Black World, she is on Death's Doorstep. Death Incarnate and Brian set a bargain—her freedom and Brian's death—as set by Death Incarnate. Two machines remain on the Water World. Brian then bargains with Larascena—and she reluctantly lets them live. After the machines fix the craft, Brian, now in love with Larascena, goes off to Earth with her.

Through a ruse thrown at the Alligatorians and the Lizardanians, Genotdelian deals with the recruited 30 human Companions—in his own way. Littorian, the Lord of the Lizardanians and Genotdelian fight—Brian is sacrificed. Join us again on Brian Miller’s quests, as Brian takes command of a Sereeian star craft, to the detriment of the Crocodilians. Brian has one resolution, to see all saurians together. Joan of Arc and the Dragon Stars

Brian Miller: Joan of Arc and the Dragon-Stars: Book Six

Earth has been saved from the Twins of Triton (two asteroids on a collision course) by the saurians and the Starfinder Tiperia. Just before leaving the planet, Brian Miller has a small request: save Joan of Arc from the fires of execution in France 1431! The lord of the lizardanians’ second, Soreidian, supports Brian in his bizarre entreaty (he has something more diabolical in mind). Brian and Soreidian have a surprising fight. The captain capturing Joan of Arc challenges the shape-shifted Littorian, who also needs a rescue from an unexpected source. The quest gets more difficult as Death Incarnate engages in a chess game with Brian, and dragons in Romania need a rescue too! Anakimian, a young alligatorian, featured in Brian Miller and the young star dragons, wishes to make Joan his companion but is hampered by the Time Keeper and must make a very dire decision. Can Joan survive?

A Dragon-Star Lives Forever (More)

A Dragon-Star Lives Forever (More)

Just when all companions and saurians are leaving Earth, a ballistic missile attack on America suddenly starts! Brian Miller must stop it, but is everything all a dream? Incredible events occur, with Brian’s life tilting in the balance. Included is a hard-core-comedy dragon-star roast, the 47 Ronin story by Nausicaa Lee, Joan of Arc’s time-travel endeavors, plus an ancient (and deceased) Alligatorian reborn, adventures in a Crocodilian rescue and Earth-like planets discovered in the Butterfly Zone. In addition, the military wants a ‘re-do’ on killing a reptilian, and Kerok, the wisest Alligatorian (and the weakest) is in the crosshairs! Of a sudden, the author appears and has a tete-a-tete with Brian Miller over the series of all of the dragon derring-do! Love is pronounced last (but certainly not least) between the teenagers and dragons. Join us again for these continuous saurian adventures! See www.stardragon.org for a (whole lot) more!
